WHAT IS THE SCIENCE BEHIND THIS?
Before we begin it is important to know that the cannabis plant contains more than 400 types of molecules, including 100 cannabinoids and a range of terpenes, in various quantities. Therefore, the whole concept of the entourage effect is difficult to scientifically test.
The term entourage effect was first used by a group of scientists in 1998 when they investigated how inactive glycerol esters of endogenous fatty acids enhance cannabinoid activity. Later, in 2011, a scientist named Ethan B. Russo published an article on the potential synergy of cannabis and the effects of the phytocannabinoid-terpenoid entourage. He concluded that selective breeding of cannabis chemotypes rich in phytocannabinoids and enhancing terpenoids offers complementary pharmacological activities that could strengthen and broaden clinical applications and improve the therapeutic index of cannabis extracts containing THC or other basic phytocannabinoids such as CBD.
According to its proponents, the group dynamics of the entourage effect can create emergent properties that would otherwise not be present in pure CBD and THC. Many who work closely with cannabis believe that the entourage effect can greatly increase the usefulness of CBD by amplifying its known effects.
HOW TO REACH IT?
Basically, by using full spectrum CBD oil you will get a full range of different cannabinoids that bind to receptors in your body. This enhancement of your endocannabinoid system is the entourage effect. If you are used to isolating only CBD and feel there is more to CBD, we really suggest you try full spectrum CBD oil.
At PharmaHemp we believe that the entourage effect is the most potent in the CBD industry, which is why our extensive range of CBD oil drops are full spectrum. You can choose from very different CBD drops, with different carrier oils, vitamins and more ...
